Chloé Gueguen is a Fintech specialist and a relentless advocate of leveraging advances in digital and mobile technology to create meaningful financial solutions for low-income people. Convinced that Digital Financial Services (DFS) and financial inclusion share the same DNA, she co-launched the ‘Fintech TWIN$’ initiative (for “Tech World Investing in iNclusive finance$”), a Fintech road-trip and research project comparing FinTech ecosystems by interrogating, on the ground, those Fintech startups, banks and MNOs who innovate in inclusive digital finance.
Currently managing Paymob’s Global Partnerships strategy, Chloé supports the global expansion of Paymob, which is a leading Egyptian infrastructure technology providers. Previously, Chloé worked as a Market Insights Manager for GSMA Connected Women, where she contributed to various research projects and worked directly with mobile operators to address the barriers to women accessing mobile money and mobile internet in Africa.
Adédèjì Ọlọ́wẹ̀ is the Executive Director of Products and Services with SystemSpecs Limited, known for the Remita payment infrastructure. Prior to this role, he was the Divisional Head of Electronic Banking at Fidelity Bank Plc Nigeria, where he was responsible for the turnaround of the bank’s digital business through implementation of innovative and profitable products. He had hitherto been responsible for United Bank for Africa Group’s card business across 19 countries.
Over the years, Adédèjì has worked with experts across the banking and financial technology industries in and outside Nigeria to build the next generation of digital payment platforms and solutions that would immensely transform lives. He has also led numerous initiatives that have revamped products, processes and technology for top-notch customer experience and financial performance. Judges will be looking for an outstanding CTO or CIO who has created or led cutting edge innovation, a CTO or CIO who may have taken a calculated risk and the risk has paid off.
This award will recognise the organisation or product that has devised the most innovative and effective method(s) of preventing cybercrime in protecting an organizations’ or customer’s assets. The winning initiative will demonstrate the providers understanding of the diversity of fraud and/or cybercrime risk.
This award will recognise an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the transformation of the finance sector, either through defining new standards, launching a key technology initiative, or driving a regulatory-related change that benefits the industry.
